About the role
Tara Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a current New York State LVT license. Compensation is $27–$30 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform nursing and technical skills, educate clients, monitor anesthesia, and collect lab samples.
- Work with rescue organizations.

- Current New York State LVT license.
- Excellent communication skills, dependability, organization, and comfort working in a busy practice.
- Pre-employment drug screening is required.
