Line Assembly Operator

About the role

Swipejobs is hiring a Line Assembly Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The role involves hands-on assembly tasks on a production line to manufacture high-quality products safely and efficiently, in accordance with company standards.

Pay: $17 - $21 per hour. For the first 6 weeks, the required shift is 7:00am - 3:30pm. The permanent shift after 6 weeks is 3:00pm - 12:30am.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products on a production line in accordance with standardized work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment as required.
• Perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently, with attention to detail.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the Line Lead immediately.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Keep workstations organized and contribute to 5S/lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist team members and perform other assembly line duties as assigned to support production goals.
