Line Assembly Operator

About the role

This is a temp-to-hire position. The Line Assembly Operator performs hands-on assembly tasks on a production line to manufacture high-quality products safely and efficiently, in accordance with company standards. The role supports daily production goals, product consistency, and a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machinery equipment according to standardized work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment as required.
• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the line lead immediately.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Keep workstations organized and contribute to 5S/lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist team members and perform other duties as the assembly line is assigned to support production goals.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 7:00am–3:30pm for the first 6 weeks. The permanent shift after 6 weeks is 3:00pm–12:30am.
