Litigation Attorney

About the role

This opportunity focuses on general liability and professional liability defense, with medical malpractice experience strongly preferred.

Tasks

• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and partners

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 2–8 years of general liability and/or professional liability defense experience
• Medical malpractice defense experience preferred
• Active law license in good standing
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay

• $140K–$200K, depending on experience
