Low Voltage Designer – Jacksonville, FL

Chris McCauley is seeking a full-time Low Voltage Designer in Jacksonville, Florida. This on-site role supports the design and drafting of low voltage systems, including fire alarm, access control, and CCTV, using AutoCAD and construction documents. Compensation is $80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Prepare and revise low voltage design drawings in AutoCAD.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide design work.
• Coordinate design details across the low voltage scope of work.
• Prepare design documentation for assigned projects.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical design, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Experience or skills in low voltage systems design.
• AutoCAD drafting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, access control, and CCTV system design.
