Maintenance and Reliability Technical Manager

About the role

Danone is looking to hire a Maintenance and Reliability Technical Manager in Jacksonville, Florida. The role oversees manufacturing maintenance and reliability operations and manages adherence to standards of work across maintenance, automation, and reliability teams.

Working closely with the plant director, the role supports day-to-day facility operations and helps ensure reliable operation. It coordinates manufacturing technical resources to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, and produced safely and reliably while using plant capacities and optimizing manufacturing costs, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and sustain a spare parts stocking strategy, including stock room management, parts kitting programs, and preventive and predictive tools.
• Demonstrate MP&S leadership, R&M cost execution, and PM Pillar/IWS leadership.
• Demonstrate loss analysis, breakdown analysis, vendor management, mechanic development, and automation leadership.
• Create, develop, and sustain programs for lubrication, utility system management—including boilers, refrigeration, air compressors, water, and electric systems—and maintenance safety, including confined space and arch flash.
• Provide administrative direction to subordinate departments, including Maintenance, Purchasing, Infrastructure, and Controls, to ensure objectives and goals are met and employees are managed effectively.
• Partner with engineering in developing the BU and site technical masterplan, including its development and execution.
