Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum uptime and safe operations. This position requires mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge along with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chain drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and production machinery.
- Weld and fabricate as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
- Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, chain drives, and production equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and industrial equipment.
