Job description
About the role
This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.
The property is a garden-style community in lease-up with 340 units. The schedule is Monday through Friday plus a rotating on-call schedule.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance on the property.
- Diagnose defects or problems and make repairs according to established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins. This includes pre-move-out inspections, creating maintenance punch lists, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining supplies and materials, completing maintenance tasks, and inspecting finished work.
