About the role
Our client develops community- and utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across the U.S.
This leader will grow the utility-scale portfolio, take the company into new markets, and see projects through from origination to funding and construction.
The role also covers fundraising, capital allocation and investment decisions, and building the solar and storage team.
Requirements
- 15+ years developing clean energy, power or infrastructure assets, with deep utility-scale solar and BESS experience
- A track record of taking major projects from origination through NTP, financing and COD
- Direct PJM interconnection experience (essential). ERCOT, CAISO, MISO or SPP exposure is a strong plus
- Experience raising project and corporate capital from institutional investors and lenders, and presenting to investment committees
- Experience building or leading a renewables business or a large asset portfolio
