Material Handler 1

Tasks

• Maintain bulk inventory accuracy and ensure the integrity of paper and electronic inventory records.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies outside established tolerances.
• Identify root causes of inventory issues and develop effective corrective solutions.
• Provide materials to manufacturing and internal customers based on production planning and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, shipping, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and discrepancy investigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with logistics, manufacturing, and production planning concepts.
• Preferred: Experience with ERP systems.
• Preferred: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
