Medical Assistant

LOCATION: Phoenix, Arizona

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team as a Medical Assistant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide quality patient care under the supervision of medical staff.
Assist with administrative tasks.
Preform patient intake and documentation.
Record patient histories, vital signs, and other information.
Administer medication, immunization, under nurse’s supervision.
Perform various procedures and lab tasks as needed.
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in scheduling appointments, answering phones and coordinating patient needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of education program in a Medical Assistant training program.
Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
Current and/or able to complete AHA certification if required.
Current MAs card.
Current medical assistant certification.
First Aid certification.
