Medical Assistant (LPN/CMA/RMA/EMT)

Job DescriptionHealthPartners North Suburban Family Physicians has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Assistant (LPN/CMA/RMA/EMT) to join our team! This .82 fte (32.8 hours/week) position will be based at our Hugo clinic with potential for coverage at our Lino Lakes and Roseville. This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus!
Week 1The schedule for this role is as follows:Monday 8am – 2pmTuesday 8am – 8pmWednesday 2pm – 8pmThursday 8am – 8pm
Week 2Saturday 7:30am – 5:15pmSunday 7:30am – 5:15pmMonday 2pm – 8pmWednesday 1:30pm 8pm
Duties:Rooming patients, vitals, records, administering meds, reviewing charts, preparing exam rooms, Vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements are obtained and recorded accurately.Preparing records for lab, x-ray, prescription requests, charts Cleaning and sterilizing equipment for all proceduresInventory and stocking supplies for the clinic Qualifications:FOR LPN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current LPN license in MinnesotaFOR MA: Graduate of an accredited MA program OR Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current EMT LicenseFOR RMA: Graduate of an accredited MA program and current Registration through AAMA or AMTFOR CMA: Graduate of an accredited MA program and Current Medical Assistant Certification through AAMA or AMTCurrent BLS/CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required within 90 days of hire and maintained throughout employment. On-line CPR certification is not acceptableCurrent Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through AAMA or AMTAt least 6 months recent experience in a direct patient care setting
Compensation: $20.31 - $34.30/hr DOE
