Medical Billing Specialist

Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing.
• Proven experience in claim submission, denial follow-up, appeals, resubmissions, payment posting, and billing reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of CPT codes, diagnosis codes, copayments, and deductibles.
• Experience using EHR systems and medical billing or claims software.
• Experience handling primary, secondary, and tertiary payer claims.
• Familiarity with EPIC, AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar medical billing platforms.
• AAPC or AHIMA certification is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working independently.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Face-to-face training and nesting will be required.
• Experience in handling payor credentialing
