Medical Receptionist – Murfreesboro, TN

I2k medhub is hiring a full-time Medical Receptionist in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In this on-site role, you will welcome patients and help keep front-office operations organized, efficient, and patient-focused. The position pays $18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in, and confirm personal and insurance information.
• Answer phone calls professionally, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Manage appointment scheduling and send reminders to support patient attendance.
• Organize patient files and support insurance claims and medical records management.
• Assist with billing and payment collection, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with medical staff to support patient flow and address immediate concerns.
• Keep the reception area organized and monitor office supplies.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• At least one year of receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Proficiency with office software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Basic knowledge of health insurance and billing processes is advantageous.
