Middleware Platform EngineerLocation: Brazil(Remote)Experience: 3–5+ YearsEmployment Type: ContractJob SummaryOur client is looking for a Middleware Platform Engineer to administer, support, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise middleware platforms, with a strong focus on IBM Sterling File Gateway (MFT), IBM MQ, and WebSphere.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support IBM Sterling File Gateway / MFT environments.Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IBM MQ queues and messaging services.Support and maintain IBM WebSphere environments.Monitor middleware platforms and resolve production incidents.Troubleshoot file transfer, messaging, connectivity, and middleware issues.Perform platform maintenance, configuration changes, and health checks.Manage MQ queues, channels, and related messaging components.Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues.Work with application, infrastructure, network, and security teams to resolve complex issues.Follow ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise middleware platforms.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (MFT)Strong experience with IBM MQ / WebSphere MQExperience with IBM WebSphereMiddleware platform administration and production supportFile transfer management and troubleshootingMQ queue monitoring and troubleshootingMiddleware application and service monitoringIncident, problem, and change managementRoot Cause Analysis and production issue resolutionL2/L3 enterprise middleware support
