Job Description:

Creative Development Studios is seeking experienced Mixed Media Arts Instructors located in Baltimore, Maryland, to teach school-age youth from Kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves in-person instruction focusing on creative arts using various mixed media techniques.

Position Details:

• Hourly pay ranges from $50.00 to $55.00
• Classes are 1 hour per session
• Most instructors work 1-3 hours per week
• Multiple contracts and sites possible
• Workdays and times vary, typically between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement arts classes and activities for youth
• Incorporate youth development principles into curriculum and assignments
• Teach techniques across various art mediums
• Maintain a safe, positive learning environment and enforce discipline
• Care for supplies and equipment
• Establish effective relationships with students and colleagues
• Contribute to team efforts that promote youth success and creativity

• Experience working with school-age youth (K-8th grade)
• Strong skills in mixed media arts and crafts
• Ability to work flexible hours in the afternoon and early evening
