Job Description:

Creative Development Studios is seeking experienced Mixed Media Arts Instructors located in Baltimore, Maryland to teach school-age youth from Kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2026-2027 school year. This is an in-person, part-time position focused on creative arts using various mixed media techniques.

Schedule: Classes vary between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with most instructors teaching 1-3 hours per week. Multiple contracts at different sites may be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging mixed media arts programs that foster creativity in youth.
• Plan and organize arts classes and activities tailored to K-8 students.
• Instruct, coach, and guide students in different art mediums and techniques.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment.
• Manage and care for art supplies and equipment.
• Incorporate youth development principles into curriculum and assignments.
• Collaborate with team members to support youth success and program goals.

Qualifications

• Must be located in Baltimore, MD.
• Experience working with school-age youth (K-8).
• Strong knowledge of mixed media arts and crafts.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
