NETA Technician – Electrical Field Service

Purple Drive Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time NETA Technician for field service work in Brooklyn, Ohio. In this hands-on role, you will test, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power systems at customer sites. This position is not remote and requires travel of 25% or more.

What You’ll Do

Perform testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on electrical power systems.
Work with switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, cables, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing in accordance with NETA standards.
Operate specialized test equipment, including Doble, PowerDB, and VLF/Hipot equipment.
Prepare clear technical reports and job documentation.
Work directly with clients and assist with project estimates as needed.
Follow strict safety and quality standards aligned with Vertiv practices.

What We’re Looking For

NETA Level II certification or higher preferred.
Strong knowledge of medium- and high-voltage power systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel 25% or more, work flexible schedules, and perform field assignments.
Ability to work safely in demanding environments and pass required screenings.
