Our client is seeking a hands-on, mission-focused Vice President of Finance to join their leadership team and play a critical role in advancing the financial health and long-term sustainability of their growing non-profit organization. What You’ll Do
As VP of Finance, you will oversee the organization’s financial operations while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include:
Lead financial reporting and present financial results to the Board of DirectorsManage the month-end close process, annual budgeting, and forecastingTrack donations, grants, and capital campaign expendituresProcess bi-weekly payroll and oversee related reportingServe as the primary liaison for external auditors and manage annual auditsOversee employee benefits administrationManage treasury operations, banking relationships, and cash flowEnsure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and reporting requirementsContinuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance7–10 years of progressive non-profit accounting and reporting experienceStrong knowledge of non-profit financial statements, fund accounting, and complianceExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills requiredExceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to BoardsA proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
Salary: $125-145K, depending on experience
