About the role
ISC - Interconnect Solutions Company is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introductions from customer order through successful First Article Inspection (FAI) and manufacturing readiness. The role connects customer design requirements with scalable, repeatable manufacturing processes and supports a smooth transition from prototype to full production.
Established in 1971, ISC - Interconnect Solutions Company has over 50 years of manufacturing experience. Its products are used in commercial and military aircraft, lifesaving medical devices, weapon systems, inflight entertainment, power systems, and commercial, industrial, and computer applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the NPI manufacturing process from customer order or release through successful FAI and production readiness.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to review customer drawings, specifications, BOMs, tooling, and build processes.
- Support product performance, quality, and customer requirements before release into production.
- Focus on the NPI lifecycle, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), process development, and risk mitigation.
- Identify and resolve build issues early, develop prototype and sample builds, and support FAI, including AS9102 when applicable.
