Job description
Dan Oda is hiring a full-time Ocean Export Customer Service Logistics Coordinator in Naperville, Illinois. In this on-site logistics role, you will support international ocean freight shipments and provide responsive customer service throughout the export process.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries about ocean export logistics and shipment status.
- Coordinate export documentation, checking for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Help resolve operational issues and recommend solutions that support customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouse personnel, and internal teams to support timely deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide customers with clear, timely updates.
- Prepare shipping performance and customer feedback reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain organized records for export shipments and customer interactions.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management.
- At least two years of logistics experience, preferably in a customer service role.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with logistics software and tools used in ocean export operations.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and export documentation.
Team and Work Location
