Odoo Developer

About the role

Avattech Solutions Center is seeking an Odoo Developer with hands-on experience supporting a live business environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of hands-on Odoo development supporting a live business environment.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with Odoo models, fields, inheritance, ORM methods, business logic, and module structure.
• Experience building and modifying Odoo views, actions, menus, security data, scheduled actions, reports, and QWeb templates using XML.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational data modeling, query analysis, and safe use of SQL when the ORM is not appropriate.
• Experience with Git-based version control, code review, branching, and controlled deployment practices.
• Experience developing or supporting system integrations through APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs, or structured file exchange.
• Practical knowledge of Odoo security, including groups, access control lists, record rules, and multi-company data boundaries.
• Experience testing Odoo customizations and diagnosing issues through logs, test databases, and reproducible test cases.
• Working understanding of ERP process dependencies across sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, logistics, and accounting.
• Clear written and spoken English for requirements, technical documentation, incident updates, and coordination with US-based stakeholders.
• Able to work onsite in Alabang on the schedule assigned to the role.
