Early Years Teachers & Teaching Assistants (On-Call Cover) - August 2026Markham College is seeking collaborative and adaptable Teachers & Teaching Assistants to join our Early Years team starting August 2026. The successful candidate will work with students from 3-6 years old, on an on-call basis, to cover for educators who are absent. Candidates should have studied Education or have experience in this area. This position is to specifically support classes taught in English, thus candidates must have a minimum of FCE level of English or equivalent.Our Early Years is located in the Monterrico Campus which also houses Primary and welcomes approximately 450 children between the ages of 3 and 6. We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum from the UK, enriched with elements of the PYP framework from the International baccalaureate (IB).Early Years houses three vibrant learning communities:FS1 Learning Community (3-year-olds)FS2 Learning Community (4-year-olds)Kinder Community (5-year-olds)Each community consists of six groups of children who follow a play-based, inquiry-led approach to learning. Our spaces are designed to support exploration and discovery, both indoors and outdoors.
