On-Site Resident Quality Engineer Automotive

Serve as the primary on-site liaison between the OEM/Tier 1 client and the manufacturing team. Monitor product quality and resolve issues directly at the customer's site. Lead defect investigations, containment actions, and root cause analysis. Communicate daily with customer and internal stakeholders on quality concerns and improvements. Support quality audits, inspections, and corrective action plans. Provide hands-on support during new product launches and engineering changes. Prepare and submit quality documentation and reporting. Requirements include Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business-related field, 5+ years of experience in the automotive field, automotive quality or manufacturing background preferred, strong problem-solving and communication skills, hands-on familiarity with 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagram methodologies, ability to work independently at a customer site, bilingual English/Korean strongly preferred. Nice to have: experience in high-tech manufacturing or startup environments, proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
