Job description
Role: Oncology Infusion Nurse
Location: In person in Hinsdale, IL 60521 and New Lenox, IL 60451
Schedule: Monday to Friday, either 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Pay: $43.8 per hour

Position Overview
Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients receiving cancer infusion therapies. Work with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to support safe treatment and patient care. This entry-level registered nurse position is suited to candidates with 0–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients using appropriate technical nursing skills under physician supervision.
- Implement patient care plans according to established standards, guidelines, protocols, and procedures, addressing current and potential patient needs.
- Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications in accordance with clinical protocols and applicable safety procedures.
- Assist with medical procedures as needed.
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and other care team members to support patients throughout treatment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; a BSN is preferred.
- Current registered nurse license from the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
- Zero to three years of nursing experience; oncology experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of cancer treatment medications is preferred; chemotherapy infusion experience is a plus.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within three months of hire.
