Open Regular Caregiver Position

Socalcaregiving is seeking a caregiver for a regular position based in Los Angeles 90069. This role requires immediate availability and a preference for female candidates. The caregiver will provide in-home care for a female client with advanced dementia and other health needs.

initial coverage requirements

• First 2 weeks require 8-hour coverage
• Coverage includes 2 weekdays and 1 weekend shift
• Shift times: 11:00am – 7:00pm on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat; or Tue, Thu, Sun; or Wed, Fri, Sun
• Separate weekday and weekend day coverage required

• Client is female
• Care needs include advanced dementia, chronic constipation, severe mobility impairment, and CPAP use during sleep

responsibilities

• Provide full assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
• Assist with meals and fluids
• Wheelchair client to dining area and assist as needed
• Use Hoyer lift for safe transfers
• Reposition client and provide skin protection
• Assist with bathing and range of motion exercises as tolerated
• Provide daily one-on-one stimulation and activities
• Assist client with facility activities
• Monitor bowel movements, sleep/CPAP tolerance, mood, and behavior
• Maintain continuous supervision and safety
• Report incidents, concerns, and changes from baseline
• Maintain client’s privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
• Provide real-time care updates with timestamps
