OT Network Engineer

Tasks

• Design, configure, and maintain secure OT network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and maintain 99.5%+ uptime for critical OT systems.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
• Support ICS/SCADA connectivity and collaborate with automation engineering teams.
• Implement network segmentation, device backups, patching, and security controls.
• Maintain 95%+ patch compliance and 95%+ network change succes

Requirements

• 3–5 Years (2+ Years in OT Networks)
• CCNA – Mandatory
• Industrial Networking: Experience with Industrial Ethernet, network administration, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls.
• ICS/SCADA: Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, PROFINET, CIP, and DNP3.
• Network Security: Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.
• Cisco Networking: Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and industrial networking infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose network connectivity, latency, and performance issues in manufacturing environments.
• Preferred Skills: Cisco Industrial Ethernet Switches; Cisco Firepower / ISE / Catalyst Center; Cisco Cyber Vision / Stealthwatch; IEC /104 & IEC 61850; Manufacturing / Industrial Automation; CCNP Certification.
