Senior Engineer – Databricks & MLOps | Austin, TX

Abcocomputers is hiring on behalf of a confidential client for a full-time Senior Engineer in Austin, Texas. This role is suited to an experienced engineer with strong Databricks, AWS MLOps, infrastructure automation, and generative AI skills.

Role overview

Build and support data and machine learning platforms using Databricks, AWS services, Terraform, and Python. Apply CI/CD and MLOps practices, work with large language models, and create observability and monitoring dashboards.

Responsibilities and technical focus

• Work with Databricks, Genie, Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouse, and compute setup.
• Support DABs pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and MLOps principles.
• Use AWS SageMaker, ECS, Lambda, SSM Parameter Store, and EventBridge for MLOps solutions.
• Apply Terraform and Python to infrastructure and engineering tasks.
• Work with generative AI models and platforms, including OpenAI, Claude, and Google Cloud (GCP) LLM models.
• Develop and use observability and monitoring dashboards.
• Work with AWS and SQL.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of experience.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (USC/GC).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with the technologies and practices listed above.

• Full-time position.
