Outdoor Laborer & Landscaper - Belleville, ON

Jacob Edwin Quinney is hiring a dedicated Outdoor Laborer/Landscaper/Gardener/Wood Shop Assistant in Belleville, Ontario. This full-time role offers hands-on experience working outdoors on landscaping and gardening projects, along with assisting in woodworking tasks to enhance outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily landscaping duties such as planting, weeding, and pruning to maintain garden aesthetics.
• Assist with woodworking projects including fabrication and assembly of wooden structures.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support garden care through watering, fertilization, and pest management.
• Collaborate with team members to implement landscaping designs and fulfill client requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite environment.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates and suggestions to supervisors.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in physical outdoor labor, landscaping, gardening, or woodworking preferred.
• Proficient with outdoor tools including lawnmowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws.
• Knowledge of woodworking hand and power tools and techniques.
• Strong physical stamina to work outdoors in summer conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Compensation: $25 per hour
