Painter Contract Job in Midrand, Gauteng - Lyson Ziyomo

Lyson Ziyomo is looking for a skilled Painter to join our team on a contract basis in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. This role is essential in enhancing the appearance and functionality of various spaces through expert painting services. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes to ensure smooth painting application.
• Select, mix, and tint paint colors accurately according to project requirements.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail.
• Inspect and maintain painting tools and equipment for optimal performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize risks during painting operations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Clean and organize work areas post-completion, disposing of materials responsibly.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in painting or related trades.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
• Understanding of safety standards in construction and painting environments.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certifications in painting or construction are advantageous.
• Experience with spray painting equipment is preferred.
