Part-Time Family Child Care Assistant

Lynn's 24-Hour Essential Child Care MON - FRI 9:00 AM – 3:15 PM PART-TIME We're looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic assistant to join our established, high-quality family child care home. You'll help care for a mixed-age group, from infants to school-age, in an atmosphere of love and respect, working closely with the primary provider to keep every day safe, stimulating, and fun. What You’ll Do • Supervision & Safety: Monitor children during indoor play, outdoor activities, and meal times. • Curriculum & Activities: Help lead our structured preschool curriculum, story time, arts and crafts, and music. • Daily Care: Assist with infant/toddler diaper changes and give gentle, patient support during potty training. • Transitions: Guide children through snack time, clean-up, and getting ready for naps. What We’re Looking For • Background check & caregiving required by licensing – fully paid for by us. • CPR + First Aid certified, or willing to get certified within 30 days – we cover the cost. • Experience with children fairly preferred; early childhood education background or interest is a big plus. • Immense patience, strong multitasking, and an upbeat, encouraging attitude. • Physical: able to lift children up to 30 lbs, bend, and sit on the floor for small chairs.
