Beronika home health care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Caretaker / Home Attendant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This full-time position plays a crucial role in delivering personalized care and support to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging patients in conversation and offering a caring presence.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition to family members or healthcare professionals promptly.
- Ensure timely administration of medications according to the patient’s care plan.
- Support patients in recreational activities and outings to encourage social interaction and engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare staff to maintain continuity of care and meet patient needs.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Skills: Compassion, patience, mobility assistance, and basic housekeeping abilities.
- Education: No formal education required; preference given to candidates with caregiving experience.
- Experience: Previous caregiving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Certifications: Caregiving or first aid certifications are preferred but not required.
