NIIT Media Technologies is hiring a full-time, on-site Payroll Assistant in Augusta, Georgia. This role supports accurate, timely payroll processing and helps maintain compliance with applicable payroll regulations. Pay is $28 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll accurately using payroll software.
• Help ensure payroll practices comply with applicable regulations and laws.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Respond to payroll questions and help resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to update employee data affecting payroll.
• Participate in payroll audits as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency with payroll software.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Good communication skills for working with employees and colleagues.
• Payroll processing experience is preferred but not required.

Team and Work Environment

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll work in a structured team environment and collaborate with the payroll team, Human Resources, and other departments. The role uses specialized payroll software and standard office applications to support effective payroll operations.
