NIIT Media Technologies is seeking a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. This full-time role is vital for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with payroll laws, and maintaining employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately using specialized payroll software.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and laws.
• Maintain precise employee payroll records.
• Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Prepare and distribute detailed payroll reports for management review.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to update employee data related to payroll.
• Participate in payroll audits as required to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in payroll software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees and team members.
• Experience in payroll processing is preferred but not mandatory.

This role reports directly to the Payroll Manager and requires collaboration with the payroll team, HR department, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless payroll operations. The position is based onsite in Augusta, Georgia, and is not eligible for remote work.

Compensation: $28 per hour.
