🔹 Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Persistent Chat Engineer with hands-on expertise in Mattermost or Rocket.Chat hosted on Linux. The ideal candidate will have enterprise-level engineering experience and knowledge of cloud-based messaging platforms, application deployment, security, and production support.
🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesManage the product lifecycle, including fixes, features, enhancements, and releases.Collaborate with Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and vendors.Develop low-level technical designs aligned with enterprise requirements and security standards.Deploy and configure application environments on Linux.Perform advanced product testing and troubleshoot technical issues.Maintain accurate technical documentation and conduct training sessions for operations teams.Participate in requirements reviews, Agile planning, and backlog grooming using Jira.Assess technical feasibility and identify and mitigate deployment risks.Support the transition to strategic enterprise messaging solutions and the decommissioning of non-strategic chat products.
🔹 Required Skills
✅ Hands-on experience with Mattermost or Rocket.Chat hosted on Linux
✅ Enterprise-level engineering experience, preferably in financial services
✅ Experience with cloud-enabled messaging platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Symphony
✅ Proficiency with Jira and Agile methodologies
✅ Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to identify risks and communicate technical requirements effectively
✅ Experience with enterprise application deployment and operational support
