Physical Therapist – Southern Belize, Belize

Kristine Gingerich Sanchez is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Physical Therapist to join the full-time team at Hillside Health Care Clinic in Southern Belize, Belize. Help patients improve mobility and work toward recovery through personalized rehabilitation in a collaborative, supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver rehabilitation programs and prescribe appropriate exercises.
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support therapeutic goals.
• Teach patients and families rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate, current patient records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing professional development.
• Serve as a clinical instructor (CI) for DPT students on clinical rotations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Skills in rehabilitation, patient assessment, exercise prescription, teamwork, and communication.
• Clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of relevant physical therapy tools.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
