Home Health Therapists (PT/OT) – Now Hiring in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Pennie’s R Us Home Health Care – Broward County, FL Job Summary: Pennie’s R Us Home Health Care is actively seeking licensed and compassionate Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our dedicated home health team. This full-time role involves delivering in-home therapy services aimed at restoring patient function, promoting independence, and improving quality of life. As an integral part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will perform thorough patient assessments, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with caregivers and physicians to provide exceptional, patient-centered care within the comfort of patients’ homes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in patients’ homes Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with physician orders Provide therapeutic treatments to support recovery, mobility, and independence Monitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes accurately Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, safety protocols, and equipment usage Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals during case conferences Ensure timely and accurate documentation compliant with agency and regulatory standards Stay updated on best practices through continuing education and agency meetings Qualifications: Current Florida license as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program NBCOT certification required for internationally educated Occupational Therapists Strong knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation Experience with adaptive equipment, mobility aids, and home safety assessments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Broward County Compensation: Competitive salary of $80,000 per year with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
