Home Health Therapists (PT/OT) – Now Hiring Pennie’s R Us Home Health Care – Broward County, Fl Job Summary: Pennie’s R Us Home Health Care is seeking licensed and compassionate Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our growing team. These roles involve providing in-home therapy services to patients with the goal of restoring function, promoting independence, and enhancing quality of life. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will conduct assessments, implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with caregivers and physicians to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in the comfort of the patient’s home. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in the home setting Develop and implement customized care plans in alignment with physician orders Deliver therapeutic treatments to support recovery, function, and independence Monitor and document patient progress, reactions, and changes in condition Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, safety, and equipment use Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other professionals during case conferences Submit accurate, timely documentation per agency and regulatory standards Stay current with best practices through continuing education and participation in agency meetings Qualifications: Licensed as a PT or OT in the state of Florida Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program NBCOT certification required for internationally educated OTs Strong understanding of orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation Familiarity with adaptive equipment, mobility aids, and home safety practices Previous home health or outpatient experience preferred but not required Reliable transportation to travel to patients’ homes Work Environment: In-home care setting (travel to various homes required) Conditions may range from well-organized to more physically demanding environments Must be able to lift, stand, bend, and operate standard therapy equipment Why Work With Us?
