Job description
About the role
Cherrett Martin is seeking a pipe fitter layer to lay out, assemble and install pipe systems, supporting strong systems and communities.
Responsibilities
- Apply industrial knowledge using blueprints.
- Shoot, connect, and cut, assemble and connect a variety of pipe materials.
- Test systems and inspect for leaks.
- Work safely and efficiently in all conditions.
- Keep the job site clean and organized.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in sewer or water utilities construction.
- OSHA 10/20 and a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record; must be 21 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have a smartphone and be tech savvy.
- Additional required certifications and skills: Construction OSHA 30, Blue Card, Silica Certification, SIkil fencing Experience, Sapta? Safety & Landscape Experience, experience working with Water Utilities and cable, and advanced working knowledge of pipefitting.
