Nassau Candy Distributors, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty confections, fine foods, and promotional products. Its divisions include NC Custom, Chocolate Inn, AmuseMints®, and Lanco.

The Plant Manager leads day-to-day operations across a fast-paced promotional products environment, including food and chocolate production, fulfillment, and packaging. This hands-on leadership role focuses on execution, accountability, and performance. The Plant Manager owns the floor, leads teams across shifts, and ensures the operation is ready from close to open every day.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations across production, fulfillment, and shipping.
• Drive execution to meet ship dates in a high-volume, short lead-time environment.
• Maintain visibility across orders and actively “order chase” to ensure nothing falls behind.
• Ensure operational readiness from close to open, including staffing, materials, and priorities.
• Improve output across departments, with a focus on identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Drive labor efficiency and manage payroll within budget expectations.
• Implement process improvements to increase throughput without unnecessary cost.
• Balance workloads across departments to maintain consistent production flow.
