Platform Engineer

Tasks

• Deploy, manage, and scale production Kubernetes workloads across multiple clusters.
• Manage application packaging and deployments using Helm.
• Build and enhance observability solutions, including monitoring, dashboards, and distributed tracing.
• Work with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure automation.
• Work with AWS services, particularly EKS, IAM, and object storage.
• Contribute to a custom observability platform built with React, Node.js, and FastAPI.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, and automation.

Requirements

• 6–7+ years of hands-on production Kubernetes experience
• Strong experience with Helm and multi-cluster environments
• DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• AWS and Amazon EKS
• Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Experience with Argo CD or similar GitOps tools
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
• Istio or other service mesh technologies
• Python scripting and automation
• Kafka or other event streaming platforms
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience

Schedule

• 100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week
• 3-Month Contract-to-Hire
• The role starts as a 3-month contract with the intention of converting to full-time.
