QUALIFICATIONS:
1 Proven past job experience as a 6 months – 1 year working as a preventive maintenance technician in elevator and escalator service.
2 Sound knowledge of elevator and escalator mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic, traction and counterweight systems.
3 Competency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, pressure gauges and other specialized testing equipment.
4 Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes and industry standards relevant to vertical transportation.
5 Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults quickly and implement effective solutions.
6 Physical fitness and capability to work at heights, in confined spaces and on rooftops safely.
7 A valid driver’s license and reliable transport for attending multiple client sites across the city.
8 Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate service documentation.
