Portfolio Manager, Team Lead

About the role

Milestone Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Team Lead to oversee delinquency monitoring, collections, and portfolio management for all loan and lease portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delinquency monitoring and collections for all loan and lease portfolios, including U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.
• Oversee the Portfolio Management section of the credit policy and assist the Chief Credit Officer with credit policy development and maintenance.
• Develop and enforce procedures within the role’s scope, and work with the Chief Lending Officer to develop and implement portfolio management controls.
• Develop workout strategies for problem loans and leases, including SBA loans, and implement restructuring, forbearance, and liquidation strategies for non-performing loans.
• Negotiate with borrowers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to achieve resolutions.
• Conduct annual reviews for loan and lease customers in accordance with policy, including financial statement collection and spreading, and underwriting and risk reviews.
• Monitor portfolio performance, ensure regulatory compliance and policy adherence, and oversee the external loan review process.
• Provide recommendations to Executive Management on portfolio trends, help prepare board and management reporting, and work with outside legal counsel.
• Assist with the Allowance for Credit Losses in conjunction with the Chief Lending Officer and other team leaders.
• Lead collections and workouts and perform risk assessments.
