An independent insurance broker is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of personal insurance accounts. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day client support, answering policy and coverage questions, processing changes, and assisting clients with coverage reviews and renewals. The Personal Lines Account Manager works closely with the assigned Producer to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
ResponsibilitiesManage personal lines accounts from onboarding through renewalProvide a consultative, service-oriented approach to client interactionsService policies including Home, Auto, Umbrella, and related personal lines productsRespond to client inquiries regarding coverage, endorsements, billing, and policy changesPrepare and market new business and renewal quotes to ensure appropriate coverage and competitive pricingWork with multiple carrier underwriters and online rating platformsIdentify, collect, and manage information needed for upcoming renewalsMaintain accurate documentation and account records
QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience servicing personal lines accountsActive Property & Casualty licenseInsurance designations (CIC, CPCU, or similar) preferred but not requiredStrong understanding of personal lines insurance products and brokerage operationsAbility to explain coverage clearly and provide practical guidance to clientsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Strong written and verbal communication skills
