Job description
kaizersoftware solutions is hiring a Power Platform Developer for a contract (W-2) position in Moline, Illinois. This on-site opportunity is ideal for a developer with 3+ years of software development or IT experience who can build and improve Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Power Apps applications that improve efficiency and user experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and turn business needs into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, supporting strong performance and reliability.
- Contribute to project planning and delivery, offering solutions to technical challenges.
- Document application features, support processes, and integration points for training and reference.
- Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Assist with training and mentoring team members on effective Power Apps use.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools; Power Automate and Power BI experience is preferred.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- At least 3 years of relevant software development or IT experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform certification is a plus.
