Psychiatric Assistant in Collaborative Care
Germane and Wise is seeking a Psychiatric Assistant to support patients with mental health concerns in a primary care setting in Grants Pass, Oregon. This full-time, on-site role is a great opportunity for someone interested in mental health, psychology, or social work who wants to help people access coordinated care.
About the role
You will conduct semi-structured interviews to gather comprehensive psychiatric histories and help patients accurately share their concerns. As a key point of contact, you will facilitate communication among patients, the Psychiatric Consultant, and Primary Care Providers.
You will also make regular follow-up calls, track patients’ goals and treatment, and help the clinic respond to patient needs. You will support clinical and administrative staff while serving as the Psychiatric Consultant’s eyes and ears. You will report directly to the partners of Germane and Wise and work as part of the wider team, supporting other assistants and organizational goals when needed.
This position is based in Grants Pass, Oregon. Monthly all-staff trainings take place in Corvallis, and you will attend virtually from Grants Pass.
