Job description
Jujane Moneth Balaoro is hiring a part-time PR & Media Coordinator in Washington, DC. This on-site role offers the opportunity to strengthen the organization’s public image and support impactful communications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to increase brand visibility.
- Create engaging press releases, social media content, and communications for other channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media professionals.
- Coordinate media outreach campaigns, including timely follow-ups and responses.
- Organize events and media engagement opportunities that support brand storytelling.
- Monitor media coverage and report on public perception and reach.
- Help manage social media accounts, engage with followers, and support content strategy.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.
- Experience in public relations, media outreach, and content creation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with relevant social media management and content creation tools.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Team and Reporting
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will work closely with the creative team and collaborate across functions to align communications with campaigns and organizational goals. The team encourages innovative ideas and a cohesive approach to communications.
Compensation and Employment
Pay: $2000 per month. This is a part-time, on-site position in Washington, DC.
