Job description

Tasks

Lead the modernization of a mission-critical legacy benefits system by transforming converted code into clean, scalable, high-performance .NET applications.

Requirements

12–15 years of C#/.NET development experience
Expert-level Entity Framework Core (EF Core)
Strong PostgreSQL and database optimization skills
Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API, clean architecture, and performance tuning
Proven technical leadership, code refactoring, and mentoring skills
AWS cloud experience preferred
Legacy modernization / COBOL-to-C# migration experience is a plus.

Schedule

8-Month Contract with Potential for Extension.
Onsite for the first 30 days, then hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
