Private Banking Business Development Officer

About the role

Eastern Bank is seeking a Private Banking Business Development Officer to develop new deposit and treasury management relationships for small and midsize businesses, nonprofit organizations, business professionals, and high-net-worth individuals within the Bank’s assessment area. The role focuses on deposit and revenue growth, referring wealth management opportunities, supporting the bank’s CRA efforts, and supporting target verticals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new business development activities with prospective and existing clients to increase market share and achieve growth targets in deposits, wealth, and revenue.
• Support target verticals, including professional services businesses, Not-For-Profit, family-owned businesses, and VC/PE.
• Collaborate with other business partners to enhance client relationships and deliver a private bank experience.
• Consider each client holistically and bring the full capabilities of the bank to each relationship.
• Refer clients and prospects to Commercial Lending, Wealth Management, Treasury Services, and Residential Lending, as appropriate, to cross-sell bank products and services.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of deposit, lending, and treasury management solutions to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Help the bank meet sales and service goals by providing a high level of client service and making an ongoing commitment to improving knowledge, productivity, and job efficiency.
• Contribute to new product development designed to increase the bank’s penetration.
