Private Tutor with Homeschooling Experience in Kempton Park

Give & Grow Recruitment is seeking a passionate, dedicated Private Tutor with homeschooling experience for a full-time, on-site role in Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa. You will provide personalized instruction tailored to students’ individual needs and help them reach their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized lesson plans based on the curriculum and each student’s learning objectives.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Create a positive, motivating learning environment that encourages engagement and participation.
• Assist with homework and assignments to reinforce learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and educational strategies.
• Use creative, effective teaching methods suited to diverse learning styles.
• Monitor and document student performance and academic growth.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Homeschooling or private tutoring experience is preferred.
• Strong patience, communication, empathy, and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving ability, adaptability, and organizational skills.
• Creativity in developing engaging, relevant educational content.
• Familiarity with educational software and tools is an advantage.

Compensation and Employment

• Salary: 20000 per year
• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa; this role is not remote.
