Procurement Manager – Jersey City, NJ

Sage Anderson is hiring a full-time Procurement Manager in Jersey City, New Jersey. This on-site role leads sourcing and purchasing activities to secure high-quality, cost-effective goods and services, strengthen supplier relationships, and reduce supply chain risk.

Key responsibilities

• Research markets, identify suppliers, and assess vendors for cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service level agreements in collaboration with Legal.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, including during supply chain disruptions.
• Analyze organizational spend and purchasing data to find savings and forecast future needs.
• Manage procurement risks, support regulatory compliance, diversify suppliers, and enforce purchasing policies.
• Lead and train procurement staff and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement or supply chain management experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful vendor management.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Industry-standard procurement certifications are preferred.

Compensation and employment

Salary: $95,000 per year. This is a full-time, on-site position in Jersey City, New Jersey.
