Product Manager - Inorganic

About the role

LECO has been a leader in the development and production of laboratory instruments for over 90 years. The Product Manager oversees the product management process for an assigned product line, including hardware, software, accessories, and consumables. The role defines product vision and strategy, manages the product lifecycle, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support market success and align with customer needs and business objectives.

Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned products through the entire lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.
• Conduct customer and market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Define product requirements, specifications, and positioning strategies.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, pricing models, go-to-market planning, and promotional plans.
• Collaborate with R&D on cross-functional product development initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate Product Managers.
• Prepare and maintain sales tools, training materials, and product documentation.
• Monitor product performance metrics, including margins, ROI, and market trends.
• Support global sales teams with product training and customer engagement.
• Investigate and resolve product quality issues and customer complaints.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits.
• Serve on technical committees to contribute to, review, and vote on industry standards.
