Production Position

About the role

Bauman Engraving & Signs, Inc. is an established industrial and commercial engraving, signage, and labeling company in Kingsford, Michigan.

This position offers the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities, including potential advancement into production management and business operations.

Tasks

• Operating various computerized production machines and equipment
• Assisting with engraving, printing, labeling, and product assembly
• Reviewing and proofing customer orders for accuracy
• Helping with production scheduling, quality control, and shop organization
• Performing computer-related production tasks and maintaining accurate records
• Learning additional aspects of our business as experience and abilities develop

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Computer proficiency and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• A positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn
• Someone who takes initiative and wants to grow with our company
• Previous experience in engraving, printing, signage, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.
• Attitude, aptitude, and work ethic are more important to us than a particular background.
• Good judgment and leadership potential

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM Central Time.
• Approximately 40 hours per week.
• Occasional weekend work may be required depending on production demands, although this is uncommon.
